| mmm... long time? yeah. i know. well, i guess lots has happened since last time. i quit apple in january (no complaints, just not enough time.. and a little far away..). im still working on a film that's waaaaay behind (my fault). and i'm still single!!! hahaha.. wow.. am i resorting to advertizing my status on xanga? lets strike that from the record, shall we?
well, im currently sitting in my room at school staring at a bunch of papers im supposed to be memorizing for a pretty big test tomorrow.. its worth 6 units. so.. if i fail, ive gotta sign up for some internet classes and stuff.. grr..
can i just say rumors are fun? well only sometimes.. right now, yes. for april fool's my friend (girl) and i called my sister and told her we were going out.. she screamed in excitement.  then we told her it was a joke.  she was peeved. but its all ok now.  ...and its almost 2.. thats just a mini-blog. goodnight, all. ..and for old times:

| so, im taking classes. working at the apple store at the grove in la, between beverly hills and west hollywood. pretty cool job. making a comic book movie soon. writing stages right now. being a film major is fun. most of the time. and im starting the blue zoo back up. ask me. and im loving my room. sam's a great roommate. andy's in the room again too. and 2 other cool guys. oh yeah, im in the dorms. on the international wing. its not completely international, obviously, but almost half of it is international. we have some really cool guys. they're crazy. i have come, yet again, to a sad realization. i can't hang out with everyone. it really sucks. but i guess ill live. ciao for now. | | |
| just in case anybody wanted to know... a couple hours ago i was notified that i got hired at the apple retail store at the grove in the beverly hills/west hollywood area, next-door to cbs studios, just up fairfax ave from the la brea tar pits (hancock park). i should be starting part time as a mac specialist sometime after tuesday, most likely the next monday. it's probly the biggest store in terms of sales, customer traffic, and turnover due to leaving for bigger and better jobs. so this should be an interesting chapter in the life of mike. mostly cuz i'm not really qualified for this position. MAC SPECIALIST!! that's not really me. im no specialist. i know a little about a lot. jack of all trades, master of none. thats me. but, sadly, theres no position available in that field. but (and this is the good part) i think ill be making 12/hr pretending to be specialized in something. ill probly learn so much more than i can imagine and meet tons of cool (and possibly famous, due to the area) people. so i guess im excited. and nervous. and pissed that i basically wasted the whole summer. and alot of money. and basically made a fool of myself again. all at the same time. and i have a headache. and a messy room. and a relatively new phone. and a head full of burning regrets. and a couple good friends. and some cool tunes. check out the streets. and the free stuff from itunes store. some of the coolest stuff is free there. and i like corrine bailey rae's 'put your records on'. its pretty cool stuff. check out 'all goes out the window' by the streets. its awesome. listen close. hes a brit, and he says cool stuff, but he swears some. well, alot in some of them. and that uy/oi/whatever thing he does is cool. 'never went to church' is nice. the end is funny. 'cant con an honest john' is complicated. its important that you keep on listenin'. uoy mate.. stay tuned for the next quixotic rambling..
